A fiery favorite from Southwestern Nigeria, our Ofada Stew is a deeply flavorful blend of green bell peppers, scotch bonnets, and fermented locust beans (iru), slow-cooked to perfection in rich bleached palm oil. Packed with a generous mix of assorted meats—including beef, tripe, and cow skin—this stew delivers a spicy kick and a depth of taste that’s both rustic and refined.
Traditionally served with: Steamed Ofada Rice (locally grown, unpolished rice with a unique aroma).
